About Ajoy
Unscripted, connected moments with the people you love most — photographed where you feel most at ease.
I began with landscapes in the pre-dawn freeze of the American West, windy outcrops in Iceland, volcanoes in Indonesia. Some of these works still hang at the National Institute of Health near D.C.
Portraits came later, but the approach stayed the same: natural light, gentle direction, and the patience to let something honest emerge. I look for the small, unguarded moments that carry more truth than anything posed.
